Abnormal weather patterns: Catastrophe created by us

Global Warming, a term that has created massive changes into the globe is a very common subject known by every people worldwide. Long back, when people themselves started creating the disastrous changes into the climate, no one was aware of the fact that they are burning their own planet – their home. However, due to lot of advertising and other mediums of awareness, people today know about the Global Warming and started thinking about ‘how to save the globe’.

Still, many people in this world do not know what exactly Global Warming is. The environment is playing with the humankind for years and this is the reason why the world has adopted the term Global Climate Change. It’s we who made our world suffer from this havoc situation and it’s we who are facing the problems due to our wicked activities by putting the greenhouse gases into the air.

It is not only media or government, but various other organizations and groups are also taking responsibilities and trying hard to make the world aware of the fact that our green planet is no more be called as green. Today, hundreds of questions rise about the causes and effects of the climate change. We have witnessed that the seasons is changing. During winter you can experience rainfall or in fact, high temperatures. Whereas, the natural disasters has started playing games with mankind. No wonder, the first major hurricane occurred is the warning to stop killing the glory of the heavenly beautiful earth.

The climate changes are experienced when the Global Warming has one way or another disturb the normal weather patterns. Due to the Global Warming, world is facing drastic changes in the climate. In fact, scientists from all over the world have even argued by saying besides Global Warming there are other factors exist that might have strengthened the harshness of such weather patterns. However, these problems will rise if the releases of heat-trapping gases are not taken under control.

Well, no one can dispute that the past few years have been unusual due to the abnormal weather patterns. While one state in west suffers from the worst drought in years, the other nearby state hits with torrential rains and flooding. Ice caps show frightening signals of melting where as, the mountain states receives snow in the month of June. We all know that the increased greenhouse gases and the pollution of last fifty years are the reasons to make the cloud to cover denser. This throws the heat of the earth back to the surface instead of dissolving it into the space. The warming of the globe allows additional moisture to be trapped in an eternal cycle.

The 2005 hurricane season in the United States was deadly and the world will always remember that, especially the Hurricane Katrina. However, 1969 was also recorded as the year for hurricanes. One of the most deadly storms of the century that took huge number of lives and properties is the Camille that could have been the twin of Katrina. One thing is true that the weather is running in cycles but the cycles are slowly getting shorter in length. Now it’s too late, but still if we collectively start reacting on this major issue, we might get a kind of relief to live and flourish the beauty of the planet.

The effects are increasing due to which millions of homes damage with the loss of life. It really does not matter if the Global Warming is responsible for the abnormal weather patterns, but what are more important are the precautionary measures that could decrease the loss of life and property. Measures are provided to every individual, but the major question arise out of it is that whether people will follow those tips and measures to save the environment and the planet? The answer to this question is rather impossible until and unless we get serious and think to live some more valuable lives.
