The American Solar Energy Society opened its very important report on "Tackling Climate Change in the U.S" Potential Carbon Emissions Reductions from Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy by 2030. The report details how the concentrating solar power, wind power, photovoltaic, biofuels, biomass and geothermal power, and also the energy efficiency measures can actually emit around 1.2 billion tons of carbon each year by the year 2030. The idea of how this has to be reduced is felt by the scientists who feel that it is very necessary to stop the most dangerous result of climate change.
